Of all my favorite breakfast foods, oatmeal has to be the one I love the most on a cold day. It tastes delicious, is satisfying, the children like it and I can usually make it through my morning without getting hungry until lunch time. This is one of the ways I prepare our tasty oats. 1/2 C Quick Oats
1/2 C water
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1-2 tsp. (to liking) Real Maple Syrup
1/2 evaporated milk
Skim Milk
Directions:
Microwave oats and water for 2 min. in micrwavable dish. While hot, add all ingredients except the skim milk.
Pour oatmeal mixture into mug and add skim milk to desired fluency.
