While re-doing our children’s bath, I needed some quick art, so while shopping at TJ Maxx for some other items,
I found a shopping bag for 99 cents
that fit great for the theme we have going on
and had a scathingly brilliant idea–as my mother would say. Why not make it into art?! So I bought the bag and took it home.
Here is what I did:
Lay bag on frame for fit
Cut to size
Fit in frame and tape down, pulling to smooth out any wrinkles.
Tape down backing (I used the cardboard that came with the glass).
Add eye screws and picture wire.
Hang.
Enjoy!
I think we will.
