On Sunday we had a Conference from our church where our great leaders speak to us. We are able to watch this at home, so being the person that I am, I need something to do with my hands while I sit and listen. So I started wrapping a wreath with yarn and making flowers. I’ve wanted to make a happy wreath to greet us home for our garage door going into our mud room for quite awhile, but just haven’t had the time.
I got the ideas for the wreath and the flowers on Pinterest (of course).
Yellow has always been my favorite color. |
It screams “happy!” to me. |
It’s been a long time since I was able to do something just for fun like this.
I’m loving the way it turned out. It will feel cheery coming home each time we go into the house. Wouldn’t you agree?
Here it hangs on my chalkboard door, waiting for the garage door to be ready after its third coat of paint and a new knob.
Hope your day is happy!
