One of my favorite things about fall is the food. For some reason there are so many spice flavored dishes that, after a summer of tasty grilling, is the only way you can really continue to please your taste buds. Since dinner is always on the list of things that need to get done each day, here is a recipe I’d like to share that I received after a women’s mock Thanksgiving dinner party 10 years ago. It has been served on our fall dinner table ever since. Easy, yes, but worth the little extra effort it takes to prepare.
1 bag baby carrots
1/4 C. brown sugar
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 C. butter
Peel, cut and cook carrots until desired tenderness is achieved.
Mix in bowl with remaining ingredients and toss until covered.
Serve as a delicious side. A great comfort food. Keep on coming back to enjoy many more new recipes throughout the next two months that will be a great addition to the upcoming holidays.
